The Lifesystems outdoor first aid kit and other kits in the range are built for hiking, EDC and outdoor pursuits.

While it is possible to put together your own first aid kit, when it comes to smaller kits for specific purposes like hiking etc a ready made version is pretty convenient given their low price point, size and overall convenience – this is what attracted me to the Lifesystems outdoor first aid kit.
Lifesystems offer a range of kits for specific purposes and their mini range is an attractive proposition if you are spending a lot of time outdoors hiking or trekking.
The outdoor first aid kit features adherent dressings and cohesive bandages that do not require sizing with scissors making them quick and easy to apply for any common injuries that might be sustained while out on the hill.

Small first aid kits like this are ideal for packing away in the backpack, they’re lightweight and take up hardly any space.

The outdoor kit holds the essentials, you’re not going to fix up any serious injuries with this one but it will serve its purpose should you find yourself in a pickle.
The pouch is made from ripstop canvas which is a nice step up from the cheapo kits you can also find online, along with the zipper the kit is water resistent although not fully waterproof. At this price point this feature is a nice one to have and sets these kits apart from many of their competitors.
