A behind the scenes look at K90 Overland, about us and what we do.
GETTING TO KNOW K90 OVERLAND, WE ARE MAC & GAYLE
BEHIND THE SCENES
Who doesn’t like a bit of behind the scenes insight? Overlanding is what we do whenever we can, just like you we have to work too so our trips are mainly reserved for the weekend. Learning along the way we take a relaxed approach to it all and use overlanding to enjoy the important things in life such as health and wellbeing.
About us
SOMETIMES IT’S JUST ABOUT BEING OUTSIDE…
Being outdoors is something we thoroughly enjoy and overlanding plays a vital role in that especially in rural Spain where access to the best spots can only be acheived by 4×4.
It’s an overland lifestyle thing…. long weekends away or half day trips we get out whenever we can even if its just for breakfast or a quick coffee out the back of the rig on the way home.
LIFE IS TOO SHORT
In April 2022 I sufferered a stroke which kind of turns your world upside down for a while. At 48 I decided to make some big changes in my life mainly on the health front including exercise and diet.
Using overlanding we’ve become fitter as a family, stocking up on winter firewood at weekends, getting out into the fresh air and hiking on a weekly basis. There is nothing like a health scare to make you view life differently.
Ripping up trees in the mountains… well, tidying up after the storm anyway and getting winter logs in, great exercise and an opporunity to get the Shogun into action and spend time in nature.
“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.”
