We have kept this piece of fatwood raw – and although tidied up it is straight from the tree and ready to cut. Fatwood sticks can be used in adverse weather conditions, they burn hot and light even when wet as it is the resin in the wood that ignites first rather than the wood itself.
Each is different, being processed by hand there is no uniformed size as cut by machines, our fatwood is authentic, harvested from Andalucian woodland.
